WBSEDCL has implemented Zonal Call center (ZCC) facility to enhance their Consumer Services in deployment of suitable manpower at customer care centers. WBCFO work in West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited under Zonal Call center (ZCC) to run IT enabled system at Zonal Call Center and Other WBSEDCL units. A WBSEDCL CFO has many functions of the company. WBCFO's are an integral part of defining the strategic Handling telephonic queries of WBSEDCL’s prospective & existing and consumers in line with guide line stipulated by WBERC. WBCFO work in the place of Managing & monitoring consumer complaints, managing Service Connection of prospective & existing consumers, generating & sending SMS to valued consumers, entering Load Shedding schedules related information, making verbal communication to privileged & internal users instantaneous ‘System Outage’ information etc.
